From a previous thread I bought a diy welder.

Am wanna of those diy guys guys looking to upgrade and make things a little better.

... and today went to a pick-n-pull many miles north of me and scored a battery cable out of a 2005 Dodge Magnum. A total of 12 feet worth of 1 gauge cable marked as "welding cable" made in USA. All for less than $5. So far learning about welding as a newbie that the ground is very important.

Thought I would share if anyone else like me is interested.
