No manager on my shift has ever done the jobs of the people they’re over. They tell you how to do your job. When you do as they say and nothing works you get blamed for the failure. Try to explain how it works? You’re a troublemaker and threatened with a write up for insubordination. They made me a team leader for my job function about a year ago. I had everything running smoothly. This year they told me everything I’m doing is wrong. I’ve got applications in at quite a few places and an interview tomorrow.

Indeed!

I have been there and done that as well.
