I had a kidney stone in Jan/Feb of this year, lithotripsy (sp?) to get it removed. Over the summer I had some of the symptoms but was cleared after taking some antibiotics.
A month ago I had ALL of the symptoms from my last stone, which did not include passing blood. I got a CT scan, urine screen, the works, all negative. No stone and the symptoms vanished in a week.
I feel your pain, that is something I never want to go through again and takes steps daily to ensure I'm getting enough fluids, cutting back on salt and red meat per the urologist's orders, etc.
Best of luck, hopefully you won't need the ol' laser heading the wrong way up you junk.

Thanks! I've been there done that. The laser wasn't the bad part, even though since I had 12 stones stuck in me on one side and 10 on the other and I had that procedure twice The bad part was the stents floating inside me due to the pressure differential while peeing. They stabbed my kidneys every time. I screamed like a little girl every time I took a leak for 10 days

See your pee doc - if it isn't fresh stones, your other choice is cancer.
