I'm scratching my head on this one.

Small package sent from Ohio to Tuscon, via USPS Priority shipping, takes two days.

Small package sent from California (LA area) via Fed Ex, takes four days.

Shipping costs are near equal.

Just depends on where their hubs are and which are direct routes for each company. Kind of the same thing when searching for flights. Some flights have only 1 layover, other companies need 2 layovers to get you there, and 1 might just have a direct flight there.

I'm finding the shipper from California used Fed Ex ground. (Which I didn't want. I asked for USPS)

Ohio shipper always uses USPS Priority.
