A timely post for me. Tomorrow I'm seeing my Dr. about my memory(or lack thereof). It's my wife's idea. I do "misplace" things; yesterday it was my keys(which I did find after a 15 min search}. Usually it's my hat,which always turns up. When I ask a question I may ask the same thing later on.
My wife said she's worried because my sons have mentioned it;the "What's wrong with Dad?" thing.
This really gets to me;for years, whenever they failed to do something necessary, all I heard was "I forgot."
I am a bad listener, always have been; but if I can read it, I'll remember it. I've had several dings to my head; I played football for 8 years; HS,Div3 college, and a season when I was stationed at Quantico. I also got hit by a car when I was 9yrs old;my noggin took the brunt from one of those big bumpers. So there's been some wear and tear,but I'm more upset over poor old stupid dad crap from my kids.
