I got this with a cheap shit Wal-Mart camera.
More than enough to prove my case. However I have a second one facing rearward now.
I think I will just pony up for this one. However, the convertible won't allow me to place the back one in the rear window and will be required to be mounted under the tag light.
A dashcam will keep you polite in heavy traffic.

I've spent quite a few hours reading many links and watching videos like the link h2oys posted and others, I'm definitely going to go with a front/rear cam setup. Also it would seem that wishing for a wireless application is totally out of the question, so when I narrow down the cam I'll likely do a professional install. Learned a lot so far though.
