No kids menu. We won’t be returning.
Some places I expect not to have a kids menu. Even one of the nicest steak houses in town has a kids menu.
Smaller portions smaller prices.
Well went to a burger and hot dog shack, has an Astro turfed area for kids to play.
No kids menu.
Got the boy a grilled cheese. 2 pieces of white bread and a kraft (maybe) single $3.69 and an apple juice juice box $2.00. I buy these same juices boxes at Sams for $7.00 a case of 36.
We shared fries as they were $2.99.
Thankfully it was only me and 1 boy no way I would take all 3 there at that price.
Add a half sized order of fries for the $5.69 and we would likely be back. But there are so many places with kids menu meals for $5 and under and plenty of kids eat free with an adult night.

I had their Portabella burger and it was fantastic. Just smallnfor the price.

I filled out their little online survey thing.

We got to be pros at knowing when places had kids eat free nights.

I think Ocharleys kids eat free every night.

I feel your pain. I have known adults to order off the kids menu because there was no difference in the portion sizes. Some places then resorted to explaining the cut off age was 12.

I have to admit with a play area for children they are asking for trouble. Lots of places will let the kids eat off your plate and will gladly bring extra plates.

I know how you feel about the prices. I still more often than not, splurge for a bucket of popcorn and soda at the movie theater.

But dang I can never get myself to buy a hot dog at their prices when I can go to Costco and get a hot dog and drink for $1.50.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Just wait until the kid's menu isn't enough food for them. My oldest has been eating off the adult menu since he was 10.

Burger and hot dog place? Isn’t the whole menu a kids menu?

Take the rest home for later? Or finish it and start working on that dad body!!!

The prices certainly are not indicative of a kids menu.

The Dad Bod is already in FULL EFFECT.

I hear ya, could be worse. In Hawaii I can easily spend $50 bucks for and the kids eating out. And that’s at 5 guys! Don’t even ask what a normal dinner costs.

If it’s any consolation I had a $9 grilled cheese from a food truck at a brewery yesterday. It was delicious
