I pretty much grew up on thumpers and parallel twins, so a little shaking was just part of owning a motorcycle!

I was stationed in Japan in 1971/72 when the first Honda 750-4's hit the street. Buddy of mine had one, let me ride it. Talk about a revelation!

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Paul maybe it was "standard" I used too, I can't recall the exact term. Regardless, after the flash the default was "A" which I certainly didn't want. I called them and was told they usually set the default to "A" but if I wanted it changed they'd be happy to do so just send it back. Well I wasn't going through that again so I just left it.

If you haven't made it clear already I would suggest contacting them just to let them know you wish "STD" to be your default.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Hmm... I wonder if that's the reason for the "binary" throttle on my VFR. It's as if the throttle is either ON or OFF; there's not much "easing into it."

God bless America.
