spend time with him as you pack it up,

get him to help you keep it all straight (boxed correctly etc,

buy him lunch, etc etc,


once you get it in your house , where you may want to set it up, invite him over and get him to help, even if the help is just telling you what goes were, or how the weather is,


he is doing what is right for him, and his family, as in making sure the stuff goes to someone that appreciates it, and will use it,

and he is doing what is right for his family,, as in one less thing they have to worry taking care of when his time comes,


is this sad,, damn skippy it is, but make it something at least partly enjoyable,
