Looks like a solid solute from the commander in chief of the armed forces of the United States of America. Like it or not, he's C&C. Freaking Kerry looks like he's in withering sunlight, not giving a solute. Puke.

I'm glad I'm not in the military now. I would have a hard time accepting that clown as C & C.

I'm not like one of those clowns that says something like "well, he's the president so he's my president....." BS!

He was elected to the office, but he is a sham. I hold him in absolutely no respect and will never show any.

It's an act of respect. If I want to salute the flag, I will do so. If I want to pay respect to returning military vets, a salute would not be inappropriate.

All non members of a club usually say the club is not exclusive. Interesting thought, though. I guess anyone who wants in can do so. Just volunteer.
The President is the CIC. he should salute.

This is not the place to point out my grammatic mistakes, it's rather childish. It doesn't reflect well on your almost 7000 post in just over a year. That's my opinion.

It wasn't a grammatical mistake. Your grammar was just fine. Wink

I have to go against the grain here and say: Unless something has changed, as I recall Drill and Ceremony instruction; Obama's salute is not standard. The base of his thumb is showing and his elbow is too low. The General's salute is actually very close to regulation.

Are you kidding me?!
Upper arm parallel to the deck, forearm at a 45* angle. Thumb tucked.

The General's forearm and hand is more crooked than a Detroit politician.
