You must have big pockets, carrying around a Windows Vista machine. How long does the battery last on your Windows Vista powered device?

And the calculator app is still unusable.

The upgrade went smoothly here, but then I don't sync with any Outlook. Battery life good, no crashing or delays.

Calculator app? Really, who uses Apple's built in calculator on any of their platform? It is a silly little, minimally functioning calculator, almost like a child's app. Smile There are plenty of real calulator apps out there, for a few $$, and some free (with ads of course). Personally, I have always used PCalc. My only objection is I sometimes accidentally toggle it into RPN mode, and then get confusing results. Smile But it is (can be) a true scientific calculator, or a simple one. Highly configurable.

I use it because... it's there already.

You do know (I don't think you do) that if you pull up the calculator and turn it sideways, it turns into a trig function calculator?

I just checked my phone and see that it's on 11.0.1. An update is available 11.1.1

I haven't had any issues so I'll update later tonight.

I'm not saying I know what I'm doing or I'm lucky. My latest Windows 10 update killed my face recognition sign-in. Talk about screw ups.

Did know that. PCalc lets you configure the "type" of layout for both vertical and horizontal orientations. E.g., you can make the vertical be Engineering (trig). About 8 choices for each orientation. Also tons of configuation options for "style" and function. To me, the built in Calc app just looks about 20 years old, with no ability to change it. But if it suits you, fine.
