parabellumIn all seriousness, I realize why members do this stuff. They become comfortable here, and they just forget. I am nothing so special to think that people walk around with my unwritten rules in their head. If they remember, they comply, so these are honest mistakes.

LS1 GTOI liked showing my wife that thread especially the ability to have the patience to stab something 1,000 times and that she is a tad sick of politics right now.

SigSauerP226Definitely sucks and hopefully it'll be reopened...again. Definitely loved that thread, but hopefully this miff up isn't met with email threats and other crap like last time. He's already here apologizing. Maybe if it's reopened, we can add something like, "absolutely no politics" to the title... Something for those who don't follow an entire thread, or check back far enough.

V-TailI'm not sure what the timeline was. I think (could be wrong) that one member posted something with political content, he apologized, and then darned if another member didn't come along and post more political stuff.

But since the past few times this has happened it was by guys who were not regular contributors to the thread and could not possibly have known they were making a bad post...
...perhaps the OP could change/tweak the thread title to state "No Politics! By order of Para"

Great minds think alike. I had a similar thought. The originator of the thread could edit the title, or better yet, one of the staff folks, who I believe have the ability to make the title
BOLD -- something we ordinary folks can not do. That might or might not work, but we have already seen that an ordinary post within the thread, informing members that political posts will not be tolerated, just gets overlooked.
I'm convinced that the people who commit the infractions are not knowingly defying Parabezllum's directive, but unfortunately they just don't seem to take the time to read through the thread before posting.
