OrgussBiting a lip is an endless circle of self-torture...
I've been suffering from a bitten lip for about two weeks. Of course, it swells up and becomes easier to bite down on again, so it just perpetuates the pain. I eat so slowly and deliberately these days.

PASigI once bit my lip so bad and got into that vicious cycle of re-biting that I actually switched to soft foods with a spoon for a couple days; yogurt, soup, pudding etc. Nothing I had to operate my jaws with in a chewing motion.

Started two or three days ago, inside lower lip, right of center. Just got back from Chick-Fil-A, must have bit it ten times or more, working hard not to. Jeez...

apprenticeWhenever this happens to me I consider it further proof that the human mouth is one big design flaw.
Think of putting a couple raw steaks just next to the blades of a blender.

Rey HRHIt's in infrequent but when it happens, it's a pain to stop. I do it on the lip or the inside cheek.

Yep, those hurt as will the side of the tongue. These little misques then seem to swell a little in size and thus exponentially increase the opportunity for another meeting with the teeth.

Trying to heal up both top and bottom lip...I look like an idiot when I’m eating all on one side...
