Move around them. Call the cops and press charges. Since they didnt touch you it isnt battery and since it sounds like they treatened you with bodily harm and you had every belief they would do it you have the right to persue it legally. I probably would have spent the rest of the day wasting my time doing it but its the principle.

+1 They have no legal right to deny you access to a public space. Call the Police, report that two men with guns are threatening you. If there is one thing that the cops hate...its renta-cops. Oh hell, I didn't feel like reading two pages of responses, so I didn't... My response is this.
I removed my cell phone from my pocket, I dial 911 and calmly state to the 911 operator my location, and that I am attempting to walk down a public sidewalk, and I am being accosted by these rather large individuals that are threatening me and not allowing me to pass, could she please send help to my location. Then I attempt to pass peacefully, if I am stopped, then I am stopped with force, and I am filing charges from my hospital bed as soon as I wake up. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I take my personal safety personally." - Me |

There's your problem. Haven't you heard, Hydrashoks are old technology. These thugs are more informed than you think. They know Hydrashoks only penetrate 14" and expand to .69 caliber. I don't think trained bodyguards are trained to let people with guns anywhere near them if they are trying to secure an area for the person they are protecting. |

The "person"...if you can even refer to Poopooty as such....was not even there yet. They just decided to block the sidewalk in advance of Piddlyputz's arrival....cause he is like such a big celebrity and all.  |

This reminds me of a situation back in January when Elliot Spitzer's NYSP detail was trying to move him from a speaking venue back to his motorcade. I was talking on my cell phone in a hotel vestibule and they wanted me out, but not bad enough to actually ask me to leave or pick me up. I turned my back on them, so I probably did not seem to be to much of a threat. Not too long after that the jig was up and the rest is history.
