Not sure if New Zealand has had a mandaory turn in like Australia. The air pistol may have been all he could use.

I choose my caliber based on the noise I want an assailant to make when shot by it.
.357 SIG - Acceptable. "Sig!" is an appropriate grunt of surprised pain. .45 ACP - I'm not so sure here. "Ackpth!" sounds a bit like Bill the Cat. 9mm - Okay, tough one here. If we go with "Parabellum", that's much too Latin and lucid for someone I just shot. "Luger!" is acceptable, though. .38 Special - Anybody shouting, "Special!" after I shoot them scares the hell out of me. |
