I have a GSR with a manhole cover. I just noticed that the manhole cover and the screw underneath are missing. Where can I find replacements? I believe this is for the firing pin safety. thanks in advance!

Just got off the phone with Sig. For those who have the GSR early model with manhole cover.... aka retainer screw... It is no longer available as a part.

All that Sig can do is replace the entire slide. Cost: $325, but they'll discount it a bit. I'll have to send the entire gun into Sig to be fitted.

The threads on this are 6-32. I think I'll stop in at Severns Custom 1911 this morning and see if he can provide the screw for something less than 300 bucks. Oh well...

Anyone have a spare manhole cover floating around?
