Sig Threaded Barrels
Are Sig Factory 226 and 220 Threaded barrels
'drop in" or must be fitted?

Thanks for info. I suspect it would be obvious if new barrel is not a fit - correct?

You are correct. It will either not fit into your slide, or not be able to put your complete slide back onto the frame.
