I was cleaning my stainless elite 220 45 today. After cleaning the barrel, I removed the wood grips to clean the frame. At this point, I noticed a small stainless pin about 1/8 diameter by 5/16 long lying loose on the bench pad. No idea where it came from. I didn't hear anything drop out of the gun. I am at a loss to figure out it's origin. Help!!!

It is probably from the wood grips. Look at the rear inside the grips. You should see holes for the pin.

Whew. That's a relief. I just couldn't figure out where it was from. Thanks.
