In the last month I've detail striped 10 West German Sigs and not one had a tight trigger/ slide release pin. If the pin is in assembled position there really isn't anything to hang it up. I have run into sear pins that need a bump to get out.

That is normal for the P220. For whatever reason, SIG chose to not use the slotted head pin and used serrations instead. Are the trigger and slide catch lever loose on the pin?

Like I said I am pretty sure that the fram and slide have been reblued and the extra layer of bluing on the frame holes are making the tight fit.
I will use a dremel qtip and some polish compound to take a little off of the hole. Unless someone else has a better idea.
The frame was not blued as it is anodized aluminum. It may have been re-anodized or it may have a spray on finish. If it is re-anodized the proper way to deal with it is to use an appropriately sized reamer. Saving that some lapping or polishing compound will not be a bad way to go. Good luck.
