I have a new 320 X Compact and would like to mount a red dot on the cut out on the slide from the factory.
I don’t see many red dots listed for this model yet mostly likely because of the gun being so new.

Does anyone known if the X Carry model would us the same mount as the X Compact model?

I don't know the model specifically but the specs at the link you post say "Optic Ready XSeries Slide Compatible with ROMEO1PRO, and Deltapoint Pro" so it has the DPP footprint. So any dot with that will work.
