225-A1 Sight Question Login/Join

I have a 225-A1 with number 6 front and rear night sights. I know that SIG has set it up so that your poa covers the target. I can't get use to this hold and want to raise the poa so that the top of my front sight is the poa. What sight number(s) do I need to raise the poa?

Thanks!

sig sight language is: "numbers up groups up
numbers down groups down"
front numbers are nominally 1" and rear numbers are nominally 2".

9mm SIGs usually have a #8 front sight. That would raise the POI by two inches at 25 yards.
