Is TWB25B Grease Expensive or is it just me ? I'm looking at an 8oz jar for $43, or a 4oz Tube for $22. Maybe I've been using bicycle grease for too long ???

With a temperature range of -90F to +450F (-67C to+232C) there are places where it is the better option for heavy lubrication. The 1/2 oz syringe is $7.50 to $9.00 and I get 40 to 50 service gun lubings per syringe.

As kanhunter points out, a little goes a long way. I bought an 8 ounce tub and even though I use it both on my personal guns and my department's guns, I believe I have pretty much enough to last the rest of my life.
It's also very good grease, especially for carry/duty purposes, and worth every penny, IMO.

Also; on the TW25B syringe the dispensing tip end rotates around and seals the syringe with an O-ring. I've carried a syringe in my range bag for years without leaks. I wish I could say the same for other lube containers.

I have tried several different brands, this is definitely one of the best. Works great in salty, humid climates, such as where I live in Florida by the Gulf.

Rails and heavy contact points and on SIG's with the metal Main Spring Seat, I put a drop on the hammer strut where it goes through the seat. I have covered one pistol with a light film at the request of the owner.

I use TW-25B both as a lubricant and a protectant. My stainless guns look great and cleanup easily after shooting. I order direct from Mil-Comm. They also make an EP spray that contains TW25B Light Synthetic Grease pre-mixed with isopropyl alcohol, which acts as a cleaner/degreaser. Their disposable wipes are good for intermediate cleaning or cleaning of magazines.

I think that it is horrible expensive and not as good as slide glide for most applications. Slide glide doesn't come flying off like TW25B. The ep spray mentioned above might be interesting. I wonder how much it is?

I like to use TW-25B on the internals and Brian Enos Slide Glide on the rails. I think that TW-25B is too light for the rails. This combo works great for me.
You know what they say, "TW-25b is like a trigger job in a tube."
