I have a few old P6's. Each came with one mag and I have since bought another (with the P6 stamp, like that). Is it worth replacing the springs in them? Does a fresh spring improve function/reliability, reduce FTF? Any thoughts on the topic appreciated. Thanks.

I would leave them in as long as they are feeding properly. I have original magazine springs in some of my pistols that are like Timex watches, "They take a licking and keep on ticking." I've put new ones in other mags and had problems right off and had to make adjustments. I'm one who leans toward, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it," as long as you are performing proper cleaning and maintenance.
