Again on a P220 9mm what weight could I come domn to on the hammer spring. The one on there currently is heavy.

Opinions on this vary. If this is a range gun you can safely use a Wolff 17# spring. For serious use, many here think you should not use less than 19#. Either way, there is no guarantee. You need to shoot the gun enough to be sure the new mainspring works reliably.
