Howdy- I need to remove the factory sights on a brand new p226 9mm. Does anyone have a tool available at this time (with no wait)? Thanks a million!

Thanks to "bgrafsr" for the use of his Sig Sight pusher! It worked like a charm!

Hey there Sig fans,

I too will be changing my stock Sig P226 .40 sights to the Trijicon Night Sights. Since I am in Cali, is there a member who is near with a sight tool to lend?

I will not have internet access from 07.10.09-07.19.09. So please do not be concerned when I do not respond to e-mails during this time-frame.

I have an original Glock sight tool that can be added to the lending program, should it become necessary.

Great good folks here offer and follow thru on loaning their sight tools. Steve M. (P-220?) offered when available and J.C. sent his all the way from Ca.
I discovered that the Sig Sight Tool will not work with the P220 Classic in 22LR or the Super Match Target (both adjustable sights) as the sights are too large to fit through the opening in the tool, both are too high and too wide.
Thanks again to Steve M. and J.C.

I am sorry, I was unaware of this. Did Sig make any recommendations as far as sight adjustments for the pistol you have?

Steve,
No suggestions but they did send a new sight in response to my email that the sight would not adjust to the right for POA. I will send another email to ask and post result here.
Thanks again,

Just to clarify, my sight pusher, made by Maryland Gun Works, doesn't fit jimmr's P220 22LR with adjustable sight, nor his Super Match Target.

I was barely able to install TruGlo Brite Site on my P220.

The sight pusher made by Sig "may" be different and more accommodating.

I'd just like to put in a good honest word for Kduly, I've had several dealing with him both buying and selling here on SF and on eBay. He's good to go and honest. Even though his post count is low and his join date is rather new I feel he's going to be around here for awhile and feel loaning a sight tool would be of no risk to anyone if they have doubts.

I would like to get in line for a sight pusher, please.

My P225 has Trijicons which are tired, and I have factory sights ready to install, but I hate to risk screwing things up with a hammer and pin punch!

Thanks!

Bill

Does any one know if Bgrafsr's P226 Sight Tool will work on a P245 slide? Thank you and I appreciate any help in the matter.
