I did not realize how much I DON'T know about my own gun.

"P-220 is offering the loan of a tool that works on all P-series pistols.
Sigseller2000 is offering use of a tool that works only on P-series pistols with a stamped steel slide.
Sig2340 is offering the use of a SigPro sight tool.
stoic-one is offering another P series tool that should work on all P-series slides
colt_saa is offering one for older P series with the folded steel slides
Bccj4 at jimstauffer1[at] Comcast [dot] net has a P series tool
Bgrafsr has a P series tool
gmcretz, has a factory P-series tool"

Not sure which I need, as all I know is it's a P-226/40cal. It's not a new one (with the rails), but I don't know how old it is =\

I'm ordering the Trijicon night sight #SG-01 for it.

So, how do I identify which tool I need?

I believe that mine will work for you. I currently ahve three tools in circulation (1 Sig tool, 1 Older MGW and 1 newer MGW).

There are currently 4 people in my queue, waiting for a tool.

I believe any Classic P Series tool will work.

I hope this helps.

Just got one of the MGW sight tools from Steve (P-220) and I'm all finished. The box this thing has been traveling in has more stamps and stickers than most American passports!!!

Thanks again to Steve for a great service!!!!

Matt,

You are welcome. I believe you may have been the member who has provided the quickest turn-around with one of the tools. Thanks.

Thanks.
