I doubt it. The slides are very different.

Thanks for your input.

So how does one adjust an existing sight or install a new sight on a P230?

To any members who think they are currently in my queue, please shoot me an e-mail to confirm you place in the queue.

I tried to transfer the e-mails into a spread sheet and I am afraid I may have deleted some of you from the queue. Please be patient with me if I e-mail you and you no longer need a tool, I am trying to re-create the list.

As an update, I now have 3 Classic Sig sight tools in circulation, a fourth tool has gone missing and I am trying to track it down. There are 6 members in my queue at this time.

Thanks

Long Live The P-220

Steve

Wow this is an awesome thread. I recently purchased a sp2022 and the rear sight is noticeably incorrectly aligned. I'm gonna shoot Sig2340 a pm!

Big thanks to Bgrafsr! I really appreciate the use of the sight tool. It worked great on my P245 and is a very well made device. Thank you!

Frank A.:

I don't know of any SIG tools in the pool that will work on a 1911.

Many thanks to 9mm_shooter for the use of his Glock sight tool. It really made putting on the new Meps easy.

Need some advise on the front sight of a P226. I used a P500 (I think that is what it is called) sight pusher to remove the old sights with no problem. I also installed the rear sight with no issues. My problems began when I tried to install the new front sight. AT first it seemed to go well, working from right to left, but then the sight started to cant, with the trailing edge moving up. It wasn't bending, the trailing edge of the sight just started canting. I removed it and tried from the other side (left to right) but the leading edge of the sight then seemed to start in the groove but then slid out of the slot. Obviously I do not want to damage the sight, maybe I should just bring it to a smith?

I know the P500 has a reputation for 'creeping' or 'walking' when installing sights.
