I am a fan of the contrast or dot the I sights common on many Sig pistols. I don't really care for the 3 dot type. I have been looking to possibly put some night sights on a P-Series pistol.

Does anyone make dot the I night sights? It would also be nice if the sights could easily be seen in day light or low light such as the last hour before the sun goes down.

My preference is for the TruGlo TFO sights. These contain both a "light pipe" fused fiber device as well as tritium lamps, two in the rear and one in the front. So it does have the effect of the three dot thing. But the fiber optic thing works great from early dawn to late dusk (it's flourescent, and the ultraviolet is the first thing up and the last thing down, so they sort of glow in low daylight conditions). And in front of each "pipe" is the glow in the dark radioactive tritium light, so it works great in the dark, too.

Won't fit in some plastic holsters.

Do what you're told, sit down, shut up, look straight ahead, no talking, and mind your own business. Did you bring enough for everybody? You're too tall ... we're going to cut you off at the knees so that it will be fair for the others. You ought to be ashamed of yourself!

I have looked at these some time ago. I can't seem to figure out how they adjust for elevation. I guess you could just keep trying them to see how far above or below the line you need to be to hit the target.

Have you looked at the Heinie straight eights?

I am guessing the different sizes listed there for the Heinie Straight Eight sights are wider front blades to fill the gap on the side of the rear sight picture. I also would guess the adjustment for elevation is done by either removing material form the front or rear sight as needed.

It would be nice to be corrected if I'm wrong in my assumptions.
