I have an old 22 that could use some touching up. I was wondering if anyone has tried Brownell's Aluma-Hyde 2 finish?

I'd really like an inexpensive method of protecting some bare aluminum.

Thanks in advance.

I have used the semi-gloss black.
Prep is everything. Don't skimp.
Follow the instructions.
It took 11 days for it to fully cure on the biggest job I used it on. So be patient.

It works fine the secret is to get the part to be painted about 90 degrees, then paint and let cure for 24 hours under a heat lamp or at 90 degrees, the paint actualy takes about a week to cure after that it is almost impossible to remove.
