She was a sacrifice as her boss was supposed to testify, not her.
Clearly unprepared, she simply wasted the committees time. Don't believe that her boss was ever brought in to testify.

...just noticed this thread & video. Gowdy is one of the few politicians that I believe to be a real hero; not just as a protector of our second amendment rights (though that's vital), but so very much more. He brings the light of day to the lair of cockroaches, rats and other vermin. God Bless Trey Gowdy!

I have seen this happen several times. An intern is sent in as a sacrificial lamb, when it really needs to be the department heads getting grilled in committee.
