I doubt it will pass this time but they will keep trying till it does. Next will be semiauto handguns and then you will have full gun registration. The Supreme Court will have to come into play and we'll see what we end up with.

^^You're far more optimistic than many.
With COVID, there will basically no hearings...good chance they'll attempt to pass this with very little coverage, especially the 'fine print,' ie. that little buried section about the registration...until after it passes, then the fake news might be nice enough to let citizens know to get their paperwork in.
The grandfathering is also divisive...it lets those who already have items take the 'well, I got mine, so all good' mentality...not thinking of the future.
It's the same story...ever.single.year. Massive distraction and effort expended dealing with these. They really need to come up with a bill where new legislation, other than repealing, can only be reviewed once every 10 years (or longer).

Several of the Bills are terrible, with misleading titles. Magazine restrictions, semi auto rifles, police tactics restrictions (including keeping a K9 on a leash) It is more important than ever. There are no in person hearings which is even worse.

Looks like the open carry ban passed and is waiting for Insleeze signature.
Regular capacity magazine ban is dead for this year.
Glad I don’t have to take a picture of me holding every magazine that holds more than 17 rounds which would have been required as “proof” of possession before taking effect
What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???
