The Nevada Progressive Group has come out to attack gun rights again. The State legislature comes into session next week. This is pretty much one of several out-of-state funded groups supported by the regular players. Last session they supported an effort to make all firearm modifications a felony, which included adding optics (that proposal did not pass, but was morphed into a bump-stock ban).

Repeal gun stores’ essential business status
Implement gun licensing (purchase permit, UBCs)
Prohibit people who commit hate crimes from possessing guns (misdemeanor convictions)
Ban ghost guns (80% receivers and parts)
Remove State firearm preemption law
Ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines

This is why I'm planning on moving out of the state. Clark County runs the state and is very blue.
