I haven't been here for awhile, so if this has already been posted....sorry.
USA Today poll (Where) "Should people who have guns for protection be allowed to keep them?"
Results so far:In home and car - 12%; home, car, & on person - 79%; shouldn't have a gun - 8%; don't know - 1%

The numbers look good - apparently more people believe in alien abductions than gun bans, but asking the readership of USA Today anything substantive is roughly like asking the clientele of Long John Silver's about what makes for fine seafood dining.

That is a valid analogy. Sendec is saying the readership of USA Today is principally comprised of morons who wouldn't know their ass from a hole in the ground. If you've ever eaten at Long John Silver's you'll get the joke.

What am I missing here?

I clicked on the link and all I found was a poll saying that there is less support today for strick gun uwnership regulations tan in the past.

That's good. I don't want anyone messing with my 2nd Amendmant rights.

Think about it. Primarily morons read USA today and think that gun bans are a bad thing. So only a moron would think gun bans are bad?

As I stated it was a very poor analogy, one than makes no sense.
