I did a SF search on this but found nothing. The local news in NV is reporting that the Castle Doctrine law will make it to the NV state legislature in 2009.
So, if the Castle Doctrine is not law currently in NV, what exactly does the law say about defending myself in my own home? Multiple Google searches didn't turn up much, but maybe I just don't know where to look. Are we like a California type state until Castle Doctrine is passed here? |

If you're up in Reno, one quick way to go would be to go shoot the breeze with Denis at the Silver State Gun Store on Kietzke Lane.
Alternatively, check with the state government. I don't remember if it's the Secretary of State website or the Legislature website (think it's SoS), but you can get the NV statutes online. There's a search feature, but you'll still have to do a little looking. The language in the statutes I've looked up has been pretty clear. |
