I should add that any time some liberal statist type proclaims that we don't need guns because the police will protect us, I think of stuff like the story I posted above. With these guys on the beat I'll protect myself, thank you very much. If that mayor had picked up his gun thinking it was a home invasion instead of a botched attempt at serving a warrant (that assumes that they actually had one) there would have been a really tragic outcome.
